This collection encompasses a vast portion of modern American history. The collection examines the American role in World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Persian Gulf War as well as the Iraq War. It also includes major events in American History such as: The Great Depression, the Cold War , the Cuban Missile Crisis, the African American Civil Rights struggle, the Challenger explosion, the Oaklahoma City bombing ,September 11th, Hurricane Katrina,and major figures associated with each time period.
