Introduction:

The Science Fair Project collection is geared primarily to the needs of students in elementary and junior high school. High school students may also find many worthwhile materials in the collection. Most schools have an annual Science Fair where student work is displayed and/or judged. Eighth grade students in New York City are required to produce a Science Exit Project involving a visual presentation such as a board, as well as a written and oral report. Materials have been collected for research and experimentation on a wide range of subjects and ability levels. There is a listing of our entire CCD collection on our MS 74 Library web page: http://ms74.com/library. Go to Catalog, click on Visual Search, click on Science and click on Science Fair Projects. There are also Science Fair and Science Exit Project web sites on our MS 74 Library web page. The reference binders from Facts on File are highly recommended. Medium-weight sheet protectors are used to preserve this part of the collection.
